Betty Anne Bantz is the mother
of five, the grandmother of fifteen (including two sets of twins). She began writing music when her children were young by
putting scriptures to music. In 1976, she started her first novel, but it was not published until 2003 along with three more
in the series. For her grandchildren, she writes children’s books.
From the vantage point of age, Betty Anne can see the hand of God moving
to fulfill His call on her life, from her earliest interest in art and music, to the scriptures she learned at the family
supper table; from her choice of a Christian college, to her first job as a proofreader; from designing Yellow Page ads to
her graphic arts job that included everything she had learned thus far; from her encounter with Christ as a youngster, to
her prophetic call later in life.
Every newsletter, every article, every song, every novel she writes is
built on this foundation set by God. Writing credits include two children’s books: The King & His Castle, and God
Made Me; and four novels (a generational saga spanning the past century): Family Secrets, The Secret Cove, Sins of the Fathers,
and Snatched. Publishing credits include her own six books and five for other authors.
Bantz plays the guitar and sings the many inspirational songs she has
written over the years. Her most recent song comes from Psalm 31:15 and sums up her trust in God: My Times are in Your Hands.
She and her husband have been walking together with Jesus Christ since 1966.
